Overall purpose of the role:
- Carrying out field-level assessment/registration activities for conducting assessments and implementing registration process within selection criteria.
Responsibilities: (in bullet points)
- Carry out basic tasks within emergency response area (e.g. in-kind distribution, data collection, registration/assessment and data entry).

- Reconciliation of beneficiaries list in terms of Registered Vs. Distributed Vs Received as per required.
- Participate in distribution of CASH and in-kind assistants as per required.
- Conducting assessments & registration activities.
- Coordinate with other parties (including local authorities, community leaders and beneficiaries) on field level.
- Follow given work plans and guidelines.
- Representing DRC among targeted communities the best possible way and according to DRC’s guidelines/code of conduct.
- Reconciliation of beneficiaries lists.
- Daily/Weekly verbal and written reports.
Any other duties as assigned by team leader and/or distribution officer.
Experience and technical competencies:
- One year of relevant work experience is preferred, previous working in assessments/registration activities is an asset.
- Basic knowledge in MS office (Excel & word).
- Good accounting skills.
- Excellent communication skills, especially with FSPs, beneficiaries & community leaders.
- Excellent organizing and coordination skills.
- English knowledge is an asset.
Education:
- High school degree or diploma at relevant sector.
Languages:
- Arabic Language with fluency at local accent.
- Basic English is an asset
Key stakeholders:
- Local authorities.
- Community leaders/representatives.
- DRC Teams.
- Field level humanitarian employees
