The Role
We are looking for a qualified Human Resources Officer to perform the follwoing duties:
- Be responsible to respond to all request related to audit, he or she will ensure audit receive HR documentation timely and make follow up to ensure such documentation are returned.
- Be responsible to ensure monthly Payroll action points for Sanaa National staff, accurately prepared and submitted to the Senior HR Officer before the cut off. He or she will ensure National staff for Sanaa receive their payslips and respond to any query related to payroll.
- Be responsible to prepare and take appropriate action point from the Monthly HR reports for Sanaa office which includes (Leave Tracker, Staff List Tracker, Performance Management Tracker, International Staff Leave Tracker, International staff movements, R&R and Visa Tracker). He or she will ensure accuracy of the reports and follow up on action as recommended by the Country HR Manager.
- In coordination with Line Managers and Heads of Department for Sanaa based staff to ensure staff attendance, tracking trend in absenteeism and compliance with office rules and regulations.
- In coordination with Admin Team will monitor timely visa and work permit processing, he or she will ensure visa and flight are timely secured to enable timely staff movement. He or she will be responsible with provision of documentation to Admin for the purpose of visa and resident permits.
- Be focal point to address all queries related to medical insurance management including registration of new member and removal of members who have left Oxfam, will also ensure good relationship between hospitals and Insurance company and in case of any refund will seek approval from the Country HR Manager.
- Be responsible with management of Pension and Social Security, this will include getting quarterly statement from the authority indicating details of contribution for each staff and ensure each staff has registration number as a member.
- Coordinate with respective Line Managers to ensure smooth staff leaving processes without delay and in accordance to Oxfam Policy and Procedures
- Validate annual leave request forms for all Sanaa national based staff.
- Cover Senior HR Officer.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Country HR Manager or agreed with other HR team members.
What we are looking for
Our ideal candidate should have the following essential qualifications, experiences and skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or Human Resources Management,
- A minimum of 5 years’ HR continuous experience in similar role,
- Ablility to communicate fluently both written and verbal in Arabic and English,
- Standard keyboard skills with knowledge of Microsoft office package word, excel, power point, access,
- Initiative and ability to work independently and develop solutions to problems.
