Organization of peace and social security (OPSS) Yemen is a non-profit, non-governmental and organization which is targeting and community in general.
Has a legal and independent personality.
Was licensed by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in 3/4/ 2017, license No (367). It is run by a group of young and experts the academic researchers.
is working in the Republic of Yemen in the fields of development, protection, humanitarian relief and capacity-building for the sake of achieving peace and social security.
Headquartered in the capital city, Sana’a under the provisions of Associations and Institutions Law No. (1) For the year 2001 with licensing number (367).
Since 2017, (opss) has contributed to youth and community development through its programs and either supported by INGOs or self-financed activities.
The span of programs and activities focus not only on youth and women, but also on community as whole. Its projects include WASH, nutrition, food , health and youth development.
Attaches a great importance for wash and health issues that affect the community as whole and youth , children and women in particular.
is very keen on embracing youth regardless of their political, religious, color, ethnic groups or backgrounds. Adopt the values of integrity, transparency and credibility which contribute to the success of its work with other CSOs and INGOs. it has a very good relation with local authorities and government branches which allow better coordination and implementation of the activities of projects. And the have team of diverse and inclusive. Their experience is diversified.

Objectives:
Through its activities, the Organization seeks to implement the following objectives:
To promote the values of peace and social security among Yemeni citizens.
To contribute to the end of conflicts and disasters that devastate humans and environment.
To participate in the sustainable development of rural and urban areas.
To entrench the values of justice, freedoms and respect for human rights with a focus on vulnerable groups such as women, children and the marginalized.
To contribute to the development of society in the fields of education, training, health, agriculture, water and the environment.
To prepare and implement social, economic, cultural and environmental studies, research and consultancy
To engage in constructively effective communication with the similar local and international organizations in order to achieve peace and social security.
